Our Mission
UmbrellaPayCalculator was created for one reason: UK contractors deserve a free, accurate, and completely transparent tool to understand their take-home pay when working through an umbrella company.
Too many contractors sign contracts with umbrella companies without fully understanding how deductions work — and end up surprised when their take-home is much lower than expected. We built this tool to change that.
We are not an umbrella company. We do not refer you to umbrella companies. We have no interest in obscuring how umbrella pay works. Our sole purpose is to give you the clearest, most accurate picture of your umbrella take-home pay, supported by comprehensive educational content.
